InnoFactory, Inc. hosted a “Windchill PLM 1-Day Seminar” on June 26, 2024, at the AT Center in Seoul.
Three Sessions: Windchill’s Latest Features, Design Automation, and BOM Management
Following a company introduction, the seminar ran three sessions: (1) Windchill’s latest features and upgrade, (2) design automation using Creo, and (3) Windchill BOM management (Options & Variants).
InnoFactory supplies PTC’s Windchill, Thingworx, Creo, and Codebeamer in Korea and specializes in system implementation and consulting, while also offering ASTRA, its own PLM solution.
The first session covered the release of Windchill version 13.0 and the stabilized 13.1 update. The upgrade focused on improving usability through UI enhancements and strengthened traceability integration with ALM solutions such as Codebeamer.
The second session introduced design automation using PTC’s Creo CAD solution, covering approaches to reducing design time along with real-world application examples that drew strong interest from attendees.
The final session covered Option/Variant management in Windchill, walking through the core concepts needed to manage product options and variants and how to apply them in practice.
InnoFactory’s first seminar of this kind gave attendees practical ideas they can apply directly to their PLM work.
